1. More than half off: Our pick for the best value pillow for side sleepers
Upon searching for the best and most effective pillows for side sleepers, we found that the Beckham Hotel Collection gel pillow gave us the most bang for our buck. This two-pack, which normally retails from $79.99, is now on sale from $37.99 for a 53% markdown. In testing, we were impressed by how easy this pillow was to clean in the washer, since it came out feeling just as fluffy as they did going in. While it wasn’t particularly super supportive or firm, we were happy with the quality and comfort level it provided for the affordable price point. Note that these pillows do skew on the more flat side, so if you have broad shoulders, this may not be the pick for you.
2. A 20% price drop: One of our all-time favorite WiFi extenders
If you’ve yet to invest in a WiFi extender for your home, you can pick up the TP-Link AC750 RE220 model—another of our best value picks—for $27.99, which is down 20% from its retail price of $34.99. Although it didn’t make our internet connection wildly speedy, it worked well enough for web browsing and editing Google documents. At just 4.33-inches by 2.59-inches, it’s super compact and can be plugged into the nearest wall socket in your space (though you’ll want to plug it into the lowest plug to avoid taking up extra charging space). To get the most out of this extender, we recommend grabbing an accompanying router that supports the same AC WiFi standard.
3. Down 30%: This 10-piece set of Rubbermaid food storage containers
Personally, I’m a huge fan of plastic food storage containers for housing dry foods, such as pasta and rice, on my countertop. This Rubbermaid Brilliance 10-piece food storage container set is a great option that will allow you to do just that, and it’s currently on sale for $41.94, falling 30% from its original price of $59.99. We featured a similar set, the Rubbermaid Brilliance 14-piece food storage container set ($54.35), in our roundup of the best food storage containers, and were thrilled with the stackability of these containers and leak-proof lids. Similar to the 14-piece collection, this discounted set features thick, durable material that’s also freezer- and dishwasher-safe. With your purchase, you’ll receive containers in a 0.5-cup, 1.3-cup, 3.2-cup, 6.6-cup, 7.8-cup, 8.1-cup, 12-cup, 16-cup and 19.9-cup size, plus accompanying lids for each piece.
4. 79% off: A digital download of Norton 360 Deluxe
Through tonight, December 29, only, you can purchase a digital download of Norton 360 Deluxe for $19.99, which is a whopping 79% off its retail price of $94.99. While we’ve yet to try out this particular version, we included the company’s antivirus basic program in our roundup ofthe best antivirus softwares due to its trusted name and easy-to-use interface. While it certainly wasn’t our favorite in comparison to other options, such as Bitefender antivirus plus (priced from $19.99) or Microsoft Windows defender, $199.99, (we had some problems with freezing while scanning with the basic version), this Norton 360 deluxe option appears to be an upgrade, as it includes a bit more, such as real-time protection from existing and emerging malware threats and a VPN to use when you’re browsing the web in public. The automatic download can be used on up to five devices, and you’ll also receive 75 gigabytes (GB) of PC cloud backup storage for your most important files.
5. Save 25%: One of our best-rated electric kettles
For tea drinkers and the French-press obsessed, it’s time to shine. Right now, you can get our best-valued electric kettle, the Hamilton Beach 40880, for $21.74—a 25% markdown from its usual $29. In testing, we were thrilled by this device’s super compact design and fast-boiling ability, all of which contributed to its high ranking. It can boil 1-liter of water in just under five minutes, and while it doesn’t come with temperature controls (it just has an on/off switch), it does beep when it’s done.
